My webcam still won't work [second opinion]?

Q: I've updated the webcam drivers, and it still won't work when I put it into the USB port. I've swapped them around, but it won't work. One of my port has my laser mouse in it, so it works fine. My memory stick works in the second USB port just fine, so why won't my webcam work? It keeps saying ''USB port not detected, malfunctional and windows cannot detect it'' What can I do? Thanks for your help.

A: Turn of computer then back on i'm sure this will remedy the problem sometimes the device driver can have problems on a freeze, now if you turn it on and it doesn't work you may want to remove the original driver and reinstall again :) Long time no see hope all well. If this doesn't work then use the dreaded windows restore.
