how to defrag my macbook hard disk ?

Q: I am on Leopard. I used iDefrag, TechTool Pro to defrag the hard disk in order to solve the bootcamp "files can't be moved" problem. It just doesnt work! what can I do here?

A: Personally, it would be easier to do a clean install.. Don't get to cute with "third party" software. stay with what you know and the disks you have. Simply load disk one into your cd drive and wait for the prompt. You can try the disk utility, and check for permissions. afterwards, you may need to do a clean install, just allow your system to run off the cd erase the hard drive and create a new install. Process shouldn't take more then 45 mins. In the future, limit the programs you want to use with your system. check the permissions often and you may want to think about "MacScan"
