Why won't Outlook download email suddenly?

Q: On Thursday, my husband's Outlook stopped downloading email from the server. It is still bringing in the Hotmail mail, but not the company stuff. I've checked the mail settings and tested the connection, it seems to work fine. Until I hit the send/receive all button, then nothing happens. It doesn't even seem to attempt to download anything. Anyone have any suggestions (aside from telling him to ditch the Outlook, he won't).

A: If it still bringing in the hotmail mail, then it means MS outlook is working perfectly, if the company stuff is not coming even if you're sure that it should, then you have to contact the sender, or request the sender to follow up the issue with the company IT department. For the time being, you can use another computer/another email account to send your hushand some test emails, 1 plain text, 1 html like a web page, 1 with attachment, see if they eventually arrive in order, if yes, you don't have to worry about anything on your side because there's nothing wrong with the pc you got, and on the company side, there's nothing you can do about it. Hope this helps
