Q: there are some songs i really like both on my phone and on the cpu that have these long boring intros that i want to cut off so that when it plays, it gets right to the music. so are there music editing programs that let me take a music file and cut off the first 30 secinds of the beginning or something like that?
A: of course there is, that is how you make ringtones lol. Go to download.com and download the free program audacity. It allows you to cut music, adjust the equalization , fade the music, boost the volume, and its fairly easy to use. There are other wave editing programs out there but audacity should work just fine for you!
