Q: one time the sound come on but no film ? ive updated all updates so i cant see that ive something missing that i need, any ideas please, even when i download torrents they don't seem to work and i follow the links ? is there something i need apart from brains lol but i just cant work this one out.
A: The reason for this is because your codecs are probably broken, codecs are built into your media player, and display video and sound, by encoding/decoding them, go on google, and search for your media player's codecs, preferbly free ones, for example, if your using winamp you would search "free winamp codecs" then once u see the files on google, download and install them, then restart if necessary, and try winamp again, or the media player that u got the codecs for, the codecs your using are probably working fine, and it could be another fault, but try new codecs and see how it goes :) Hope it helps Jason :)
