Q: Yesterday I turned my Gateway laptop on and it said operating system not found. I have a disc that says operating system installation and when I put it in it goes to the re-install windows prompt but before it starts it says I need to load drivers. It asks for a driver media disc that can be floppy, cd, dvd. The only disc that came with my computer was the operating system reinstall. What can i do?
A: Hi bama, you must find the drivers in the web of the mark of computer. then find options what say 'supports' or 'downloads and drivers'. then find the model or serial number to by find the correct drivers of video, sound, chipset, etc., etc. p.example: Mark: Dell Model: xxx452 S/N:46546456-D this is minimal data what you must join. Try, Too finding in the drive D: maybe exist folder with drivers of you laptops. Good luck
