Q: Hey everybody. Well i did the dual boot of ubuntu and xp and im ready to get rid of Ubuntu and revert to using xp. Problem is i cant figure out how to do it! I dont have a windows disk because the laptop was a gift. Please help out guys! i need that hard drive space back!
A: you'll need to fix your master boot record after removing linux or you'll have boot issues. get into the recovery console booting from your xp install cd and type fixmbr or you can download supergrub to help fix the mbr http://supergrub.forjamari.linex.org/
