A: In versions of Word prior to Word 2007 (Vista): 1. Select the text with the cursor. 2. Click the Format->Font menu item. 3. In the Effects section, click Strikethrough. 4. Click OK. In Word 2007: 1. Select the text with the cursor. 2. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click the button that has the letters "abc" with a line through them. Hope that helps.
