Q: My computer came with Mcaffe. I really dont think it does anything, I want to get AVG but I'm not sure if it is okay to get the two on one computer or if it will mess it up.
A: Generally, trying to run AV's at the same time can cause conflicts between the two. It's not a good idea to have 2 live AV's installed on the same OS. They can interfere with each others processes causing virus false alarms and can slow the PC down and in some cases lock it as they both try to access the same system files.
