Do I have to have K-LITE CODEC when I have YASA VOB to MP4 CONVERTER?

Q: I had previously installed K-LITE CODEC PACK. Then after realizing I didn't understand how to use it, I purchased YASA VOB to MP4 CONVERTER. Can I now delete the K-LITE CODEC PACK, or is it neccessary to have both? I have not seen any kind of instructions on how to use K-LITE CODEC. Do I need to do anything in particular with this , or, just have it on computer? I am not very computer literate. I'm trying to learn how to convert and upload .vob files.

A: YASA VOB to MP4 CONVERTER is an altogether different kind of program. Leave K-Lite Codec Pack installed, it won't do any harm. Au contraire, it's the best codec pack you can get and it ensures any type of video file will play on your system. Once you install the K-Lite Codec Pack you don't need to do anything else. It's like the kind of patch you get from Windows Update, you install it and then forget about it. This is the same thing but instead of being a security fix is a 'video fix' of sorts so that your media player can play all types of video files with all sorts of different encodings (codecs).
