Q: Hey! I am doing a text document on microsoft word, and i wanted to edit a sentence, but when i type over it it deletes the words next to it! And i really am not going to type it all again1 I know there is a method to change this setting because i have seen it being done, but just forgot how to do it! Any help please :D
A: the insert key on your keyboard turns the "overwrite" mode on and off. Pressing it once turns it on, pressing it again turns it off. When overwrite mode is on, you'll notice a "OVR" displayed on the very bottom status bar.
