What do the results of my AVG anti virus scan tell me?

Q: I've had a new computer for 2 months and I just ran my first scan with the free AVG anti-virus program. These are the results" No infections No spyware 166 warnings It took over an hour to run that scan and they are suggesting that I do this every day??? Wouldn't once a week be enough? I don't download things from the internet, and I don't open unknown files in my e-mail, and I basically visit the same internet sites over and over agian, so is once a week scan OK?

A: That you have your scanner set to scan for tracking cookie, which si what the 165 warninigs are. Basicly you are nothing to worry about, as cookies are not a threat, everyone has then, their normal. If you don;t want AVG to scan for them, just go into the scan settings and tell it not to scan for tracking cookies, that's what I did.
