Chat Room Privacy and Child protection?

Q: I was on a chat room called teen chat, which is run by a website called 321chat.com. The guidelines state 13 to 19 year olds only. Well I am 18 so I am allowed to use the teen chat site. while on there a girl asked for guys to private message her if they are "18+". I private messaged her and we got talking. We started flirting and then suddenly this message came up about child protection, and something about IP address, and about logging out will harshen your punishment. Well I had no idea what was going on. And stupidly I logged out. Now I can't go back on the message that came up. And I am scared of getting in trouble. I thought the girl was 18 as she had asked for "18+". Could someone please help and tell me what it was about and what I should do.

A: It sounds to me like some idiot having a bit of fun trying to scare people with that message. You were right to log out and not play along. Harshen your punishment? I would have told them to stick their punishment up their stupid ar** and then log out. Don't worry about it.
