Q: Lavasoft firewall blocks intruders, which is good but then it gives an annoying beep and a popup to notify me that "such and such IP number blocked" I don't want to be notified who is blocked and neither am I interested in knowing the IP number of the attacker. I just don't care. How to set lavasoft firewall to a mode where i get no notification of intruder being blocked. Its quite a loud beep.
A: i use lavasoft firewall too. its very easy to manage. the menu and mode options are incredibly easy and user friendly. Just take some time to learn how to set it into silent mode. It does give user the option of choosing not to be notified of an attack detection. What is the point of having firewall when you don't know how to set it?
