Q: My computer was perfectly fine all day then all of a sudden I get on and my Norton Antivirus thing keeps popping up saying "auto protect blocked security threat from XPAntivirus". I tried deleting the XPAntivirus thing but it won't let me... how do i get rid of this virus? I tried following the Norton instructions but when it came time to delete the values in the registry I couldn't find them.... Please help me... I use my computer for everything, and its very important that its working properly with no viruses! Thank you!
A: type in xp antivirus 2008 in your web browser click the one with www.bleepingcomputer.com as a site look for malwarebyte's anti-malware... read the page carefully... just had this 3 weeks ago... if your antivirus have a log... look it up on when it happened and what files are infected
