Q: i installed AVG a little while ago on my computer because it had some viruses...duh. it worked for a day and now viruses are building up in my resident sheild detection...it's all the same virus, this Win32/Heur. and i go to click remove selected threats or remove all threats and a window pops up saying files cannot be healed because virus vault has reached maximum file count limit...so now i have79records in the resident sheild detection. BUT when i go to check on my virus vault to delete it's contents......nothing is in there....so i cant click on the delete option .......help me...
A: I hate AVG. What to do: 1 turn off system restore 2. boot in safe mode with networking 3. do a free online scan http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html 4 re boot if clean turn on system restore.
