Q: So I'm using those 2 programs CleanUp 4.5.2 and Ccleaner 2.09. I use Ccleaner first with Gutman (35 passes) and then I use CleanUp. The question is, Is it possible to find any interenet history, surfing, or cookies after using 2 of these programs, and if it is how hard is it?? By the way i'm using Windows Vista, if that matters..
A: Don't be so paranoid, CCleaner is enough to clean out your temp files etc. 35 passes is a little excessive, a couple of passes should be enough to make software recovery almost impossible. It might still be possible to find them with hardware recovery. Bear in mind while it's easy enough to clear traces of your internet viewing on your computer, your ISP may be monitoring your traffic. ooooooooooh
