Q: Every time I go on the internet numerous pop ups appear. And so i run AVG and delete close to 50 cookies that are claimed to be adware and a couple of trojan viruses. After I delete these or move them into the virus vault I change my security settings to do not accept cookies. But in about an hours time im back where i started. Is there any programs apart from AVG that can stop these problems for good? If not what is the next best thing?
A: If you are using internet explorer just go to preferences and check the box where it blocks the pop ups. I've been using mozilla firefox for a long time now and i added the adblockplus program that works great blocking advertisement and pop ups, i strongly recommend you use that one, it crashes less than ie and is faster.
