Q: avast anti-virus scanner found 3 viruses on my computer..it told me to put the viruses in the virus chest.i did that. what do i do now!! thank you!
A: You've done the right thing... In the famous words of JibbarJabbar (a Top Contributor here), "Quarantine first, then delete." Items in quarantine are safely segregated from the rest of your computer and can do no harm; but in the unlikely event that they may be false positives, they are still available to be restored if necessary. Just go about your normal computer activities for a week or so, and assuming that everything continues to run properly, *then* delete them permanently.
