Q: When i try to scan it keeps saying that the usb is not connected, but i did though!!!! Could the reason be that i am using the usb cable from my old printer?? i can print and copy but i can't scan!!! Also is there a way to change the language into English ( like the things on the computer when i use the printer), because it is Chinese!!! thanks!!1

(of course, i'm assuming you have windows o/s) click start, printers and scanners, scanners and cameras, double click on image scanner device name (scanner and camera wizard pops up) then follow instructions from there. good luck!!!
